( You'll soon find out what I mean) Brytenwalda, lots of options stated like above. PoP is a fantasy like game with a more hardcore challenge from the other mods.

They're both good, but for different reasons, and I like them equally.Description on mods that I like: ( Not much to be said about most of them ) If you want something that has more variety, has a bit more of a challenge early on, a lot of factions to choose from, but is slightly unbalanced and is still in development (PoP is on version 3.9, whilst Perisno is on 0.81 or something), I suggest Perisno.

If you want something that runs well with decent variety, a little dose of fantasy, interesting lore, looks beautiful, and has a decent challenge, I suggest Prophesy of Pendor. Overall, I would recommend both, but for different reasons. It's optimization isn't great, there's still several bugs that need fixing (mostly quest related ones), some armor textures are just ugly, and the battles can be a struggle to get through because of the lag if you don't have a decent computer. Now granted PoP has this too, but it doesn't feel as cheap. The difficulty I would argue is harder in the early game that Prophesy of Pendor, with so many wandering bands with high tier equipment, as well as a large upkeep for higher tier units. Some factions are clearly more powerful than others (Valahir Clans have no cavalry except noble units and named characters, in a mod where cavalry dominates). There's more factions, more items, and just more to do in it. Perisno however I would argue has more variety. Prophesy of Pendor is much more polished in terms of textures, optimization, balance, and so on, while also being lower fantasy with a little magic here and there.
